Crockpot Spaghetti

Crockpot Spaghetti

1 lb browned ground beef
2 jars of spaghetti sauce (or one large one)
1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
1/2 block cream cheese OR 1/2 (SMALL) container of ricotta cheese
1/4 block mozzarella cheese (cubed)
Serving size of noodles (we used whole wheat for the added benefit)

1. Spray or line crockpot with liner
2. Layer 1 jar or 1/2 large jar of spaghetti sauce
3. Break noodles in half and place in sauce
4. Cover noodles with ground beef
5. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese
6. Add in cream cheese or ricotta**, and cubed mozzarella cheese
7. Poor last jar or rest of large jar of spaghetti sauce
8. Cook high for 3-4 hours
**The first time we tried this recipe we used cream cheese (a whole block because I didn't read the instructions :P ) and it was an incredibly sweet spaghetti. Which tasted fine but I adore salt (hello blood pressure lol) so I discussed trying ricotta instead and HELLO! it was amazing! So depending how you like your spaghetti try one or the other or both.

We've officially decided it's a new staple for our menu, it was awesome!! I don't normally like crockpot meals that you have to pre-cook an ingredient but this was so worth it for a spaghetti casserole.

Ingredients without the ricotta, mozzarella, and parmesan

The first batch with cream cheese

The second batch with ricotta
