Nannylife: Juice

So I don't know about you, but I try to make my life a little simpler when I can. Of course the world will always result in entripy but hey what can you do?
Well as a nanny to a toddler, making life simple is just common sense and necessary.

Little Man gets juice with certain meals or just while he's walking around destroying things, because we all need juice in the midst of chaos right?

Well we don't give him whole juice, what I mean by that is we dilute the crap out of juice. He doesn't even know the difference, and I'd hazard a guess he wouldn't really enjoy undiluted juice. His juice, be it apple, white grape, grape, etc., is either 1/2 or 2/3 water.

On to my point of the post, the other day it finally hit me that I could make the process of diluting the juice a little easier. So I kept his old juice bottle once it was empty and filled it halfway with the new juice. Then I halved them with water and ta-da now I just pour straight from the bottle!

Nannylife: Juice

One unopened apple juice, one empty juice

Cut the apple juice in half

Add filtered water

One diluted juice

Two diluted juice

Ready for the sippy!

  1. GREAT idea! I'll have to try with the boys!

  2. Seriously- why did I never think of doing this!!!! Hahah. Great idea.

  3. I always diluted my kid's juice cups, too. Why I never thought to keep it stored that way is beyond me! Great idea! I'm so glad I found your blog through the #joyhopelive link up :)

  4. Thanks for linking up with #JoyHopeLive

  5. We dilute our juice too, and it not only saves us money with the juice lasting longer, but it also gets more water into us daily. Good tip!! Thank you for sharing at Merry Monday!
