1 pound ground turkey (cheaper then ground beef, and who cares that it's better for you when it's all about $$$$)
1 egg
1 tbl ketchup
1 tsp everglades seasoning (or your own seasoning)
1/4 cup bread crumbs (truly I didn't actually measure, just make sure it doesn't stick to you as much while you're mixing)
4 pieces of bacon per burger
Directions:
1. Mix all ingredients, except bacon in a bowl
2. Shape into patties
3. Wrap 4 pieces of bacon around each patty, ensuring that no burger can be seen. The reason that you want it wrapped is as the bacon cooks it will constrict, allowing the juices to stay in.
4. Cook to your liking (we used a george forman) until the enternal tempature is at least 160 degrees (this is for medium) 165 for (medium well) or 170 for well done!
5. Top with your favorite cheese, condiments and buns and enjoy!!
Oh my goodness, that is quite some burger! Yummy! Thank you so much for sharing this on Making Memories Mondays, I am so glad that you came!
