The Bits & Pieces:

Abbi @ Seasons of a Homemaker needs you to know:
-I am a bible-thumping, saved at 16, confirmed in the Catholic church girl. Yeah, go ahead and try and figure that one out. I adore: Ecclesiastes 3:1, Isaiah 40:31, Proverbs 31:10, Proverbs 27:6, Psalm 19:14, Proverbs 46:10, 1 Peter 3:4, Matthew 6:33 && Revelation 1:8
-I'm married to by best friend, lover and teacher, my Bear! I have a huge passion for our marriage and blog about it a lot!
-I’m a “mommy” to a dachshund named Elli-Mae and two Ratties named Arwen & Luna.
-We want lots of children when the time is right and would love to adopt! That’s on my heart.
-Josh and I are “geeks”. We love FANDOMS! Harry Potter, Hunger Games, Lord of the Rings, Batman, Ironman, Minecraft, World of Warcraft, and the list can go on and on!
-I love to exercise my second amendment right to bear arms, and oppose anyone who would take that away from me!
-We have a dream of owning a farm, but it’s more like a zoo. I want cuddly animals not to kill.
-I love to cook, but I don’t necessarily follow cooking rules, I cook what tastes good. Check out my recipes!
-I don’t have a creative/crafty bone in my body, I can’t sew, knit or scrapbook. I’m too into details. So I make printables, a very detail-oriented thing to do :/

About the Blog:
Seasons of a homemaker is a blog inspired by Ecclesiastes 3:1. “There is a time for everything and a season for every activity under the heavens…”
Life is full of seasons. Seasons of happiness and seasons of struggle and as always God calls us to bring glory to him through thanksgiving.

The vision for this blog is not just to share the truth of my marriage, the ups and downs but to bring encouragement that all marriage trials can be won with God. I hope to share recipes with my followers so that we can try new things and learn new ways of eating. I love to make printables so I hope to expand my section of printables. I hope most of all to fellowship with others in their journeys with Christ, finding the joy in all things.

  1. There is a mondset that I try to live by everyday:
Life is 10% what happens to you,
and 90% your attitude towards it.

Hard to accept sometimes, but certainly worth the effort.

  2. I just stumbled upon your blog. It's really cool. Life is all about seasons ... and understanding the season God has us in at the moment. I am trying to have a baby and realised this week that God is preparing me for something else first. xx
