I love to cook, honestly I do! Joshua loves the fact that I make a recipe "my own". Joshua and I really LOVE spicy foods but we don't substitute on flavor while cooking. I am clearly the cook in the family, but I AM not a baker, though I do make some mean brownies! I just enjoy cooking, even in my limited capacity of being the most picky eater on the planet! I apologize in advance for the lack of veggies in my recipes, I just don't enjoy them, though I'm working on it!!

I also wanted to share with you where I go to find most of my recipes. I also use recipe books that you find in the grocery stores, visit this link to read more about them!
Pinterest- when you sign up, which is as easy as allowing the website to access facebook, you'll go to the "food & drinks" page and have the opportunity to spend DAYS looking over "pins" of recipes that once you follow the link will either lead you to a blog or website

Crockin' Girls- I love crockin girls, they have a section to choose what you want, dessert, breakfast, beef, chicken, pasta, etc. Users can submit recipes and the crockin girls make videos if you need any help on a paticular step of the recipe. Beyond that it's all CROCKPOT meals which I LOVE!

Six Sisters' Stuff- Six sisters, well I can't tell you toooooo much about them except I LOVE the recipes. They aren't all about food or even all about one method of cooking. What I do know is it's six women who cook (thought not sure if they're sisters). It's a wealth of recipes :D

AllRecipes- All recipes is a commercial website, made by someone (unsure) but you can put in what you have or you can type in what you want to cook and it leads you to user submitted recipes. It also has an iphone app :D

"The Big Ugly" at Bub's in Carmel, Indiana. The 1LB burger!

Pigs-in-a-blanker and mac n' cheese!

Wurst Platter at Rathskeller in Indianapolis!

  1. Hi, I found your blog from the link party Have A Cup of Mrs. Olsen. I tried to subscribe but got a message that you didn't have email subscription activated. I enjoyed looking through your Printables & see some very useful ones. Thanks

    1. Deb- Please try again! I worked on it all morning trying to get that working again, I'm not sure what happened. Sorry for the inconvenience.

I love reading through your comments and will reply to all comments as time allows me!! Thank you for visiting :D
